How to Use
- Clean before first use: Separate all parts. Boil, dishwash or steam nipples; shields can be hand washed or placed in the top rack of the dishwasher. Let everything cool and dry fully before assembling.
- Align the nipple with the channels on the shield (non- sucking side) to insert the nipple into the shield.
- Turn the cap clockwise (righty tighty) to secure the pacifier in place.
Daily cleaning is recommended for pacifiers. Grab the 2 or 4 pack so there's always a fresh one within reach.

Most materials that look like wood come with all the problems of wood. Splintering. Molding. Bacteria hiding in the grain. The design goal from the start was to find something better.
After years of R&D, the answer was a material made from compressed recycled paper and eco-resin. It looks warm and natural because it is. But it performs nothing like wood.
Here's what that actually means for your baby's pacifier:

The moment I discovered the shield and nipples I was all in! I love the idea of interchangeable nipples, and it becomes a lot easier to keep the pacifier, clean and sanitary. The shields are beautiful and every time someone sees my baby with the pacifier in his mouth they always ask me where did I get that? They’re so unique and creative and check all the boxes.. Most of all they keep my little guy happy at times when he needs them most!!

After placing my order, Lindsay reached out to me because I accidentally ordered a shield color that was out of stock. My baby girl joined us a couple of months ago (my second kiddo), and the Soothe Beginnings pacifier has been a God send. First off, having the right pacifier has been critical for us so that our second kiddo doesn't wake up our first and so that we can all get some sleep. I loved that I was able to try three different nipples with the Soothe Beginnings pacifier kit - my daughter loved the one that most resembled my nipple since she is exclusively breastfed :). I especially love the material of the pacifier (knowing that it's completely safe for her) and the design (feels like a luxury pacifier experience rather than store bought :)). I know we'll continue to use it throughout the next year, and I definitely plan to purchase more as gifts for other new moms!

The texture is perfect! I’m all about the triangle test! So the breast like nipple is what I wanted for my little one! I’ve tried the nini co and she took to it BUT the texture isn’t the same as her Even flo wide neck bottles. So unfortunately she was collapsing the Paci. Tried this breast-like shaped nipple and she likes it and it does not collapse! The customer serviceis amazing! Very personable and friendly! 10/10 this is my new favorite paci! The craftsmanship, the attention to detail in design, safety, sanitation is unmatched! Just had our 4th baby and brought our paci with us to the hospital. We did give her the one the hospital provides, but as soon as we have her the soothe beginnings pack, she took to it so easily. I have never had any of my other kids take so easily and be soothed so we'll. Would definitely recommend trying it out! You're going to love it!!

This was such a well thought out product. I wish I could have gotten my baby to use it! When we received our item my baby was 10 months. He’s not a true paci baby, and therefore didn’t take to using the product.

I love the idea of this pacifier and was hoping my baby would take to it better than she did. The nipple seems too firm for the shape of it and she isn’t able to keep it in her mouth very easily. She is used to this shape as we use the Ninni Co without issue.

Are Soothe Beginnings Pacifiers made of wood?
No! The cap and shield piece are made of recycled paper and eco resin called Richlite. It doesn’t splinter like wood does. It is food grade, non-toxic, dishwasher safe, and sustainable!
Richlite is a Forest Stewardship Council, Environmental Protection Declaration, Health Product Declaration, Greenguard, National Food Safety, and Eco Bind certified product.
Are Multi-Piece Pacifiers Safe?
Single-piece pacifiers are commonly recommended because many multi-piece pacifiers have historically been poorly engineered. However, multi-piece pacifiers are not inherently unsafe. Safety depends on engineering: component size, secure connections, materials, and sanitation. Many closed-back pacifier designs are multi-piece and were created to reduce finger entrapment, but poor moisture management led to sanitation issues. When modular pacifiers are intentionally engineered to prevent finger entrapment and allow full cleaning, they can address safety risks found in traditional single-piece designs. Every precaution and additional safety measures are taken with Soothe Beginnings, including extra testing beyond requirements.
